Overview

Darjeeling is one of the prettiest hill station in India located in northern part of west Bengal. It’s all about magnificent views of snowcapped Kanchenjunga, torrent’s flowing down the mountain slopes, lovely tea gardens, landscapes with firs, pines & ferns, and all that combined with friendly people and modern yet colonials charm. You can find about 4000 different types of flowering plants in Darjeeling district and there are 300 types of ferns and if you care to go around the forested land, you can see red pandas, pangolins, yellow throated martens, barking deer and elephants in their natural habitats.

Sikkim is a state in northeastern India, bordering Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the region has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, the Kanchenjunga whch is 8556 m tall. Sikkim is home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of wildlife. Steep paths lead to mountain-like Buddhist monasteries, such as Pemayongtse, which dates back to the early 1700s.

In the 1700th-century Nagmal dynasty created the Sikkim state. After 1947, Sikkim continued its defensive position in India’s direct territory. It enjoys the highest literacy rate and per capita income among the Himalayan states. In 1973, a royal riot took place in front of the Chogyal Palace. The monarchy was blocked by the people in 1975, and a referendum helped Sikkim become India’s 22nd state.

Itinerary

Burimari by night bus from Dhaka.

From border to Siliguri by jeep after lunch leave for Darjeeling. After reaching Darjeeling in the afternoon, check in at the hotel and spend your own time.

Wake up early in the morning and go out to see Darjeeling's sites after breakfast. I will walk around all day. I will go around the whole day and come back to the hotel and then spend my time on my own.

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and leave for Gangtok. I'll check out the site on the way. If allowed, I will go to Gangtok. Have lunch at Gangtok. After this, I will have my own time and explore around Gangtok.

This day we will go to Sangu to see Sangu Lake. I will return from there and have lunch at the hotel. Then spend the whole time shopping and spending time on our own.

We will wake up early in the morning and check out from the hotel. We will leave for Siliguri. Have lunch in Siliguri. After eating, We will leave for Bangladesh in the afternoon after finishing all the immigration work and after finishing the Bangladesh border work, We will leave for Dhaka by night car.

If everything goes well, I will reach Dhaka early in the morning.
